Greetings,
Shortly after upgrading to Quicken 2007 I would periodically get an
error screen/journal when starting up. It states that an entry outside
of Quicken (I use WebEntry) has problems with it & needs to be
corrected. The data in the entry is a routine one that I enter often but
it is always the same date, payee & amount. There are options to edit it
or delete it or finish later. I have deleted it & it returns. I have
tried editing it in different ways, importing it & still it returns.
Possibly related to this problem is that periodically when backing up I
get the message that the file was NOT backed up. I then validate (or
SuperValidate) the file & the backup proceeds without issue. The
validation error report is always:
QDF:
Incorrect file size.
Unknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown
ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown
ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorUnknown ErrorValidating the
QDF file.
QEL:
The old file was corrupt and only some of the data has been recovered.
QEL:
All internal consistency checks passed.
Usually validating corrects issues but it doesn't in this case. Does
anyone else have any insights.
Thanks for your time.
