Not enough (at least not to get the reminders into Outlook ... it might
work to remove them though).

You need to tell Quicken which of your Bills and Reminders you want
synched with Outlook. You can do that by selecting them in the

Banking > Bill and Income Reminders List

clicking "Edit", and checking the "Sync to Outlook" box.

"Outlook 2003 SP3" was the only answer I needed.

I have Outlook 2002, and I have successfully synced to Outlook, so for
now, I assume your Outlook version isn't the problem.

If you've not tried it, how could you know it's silly? [It's rhetorical,
I'm not interested in the answer.]

Maybe not part of the solution to this particular problem, but not silly.
One, or both steps, are sometimes recommended, and occasionally required
for various applications ... sometimes the necessity is not published (or
is obscurely published), and must be guessed.

Then why didn't you post that when I asked?

You do remember that I asked you what steps you took to accomplish the
sync to Outlook, don't you?
