Strange wouldn't be my first choice of words: unfriendly would be closer
to what I see. The limit isn't a mistake: it's their policy.

I don't have much choice, if I want high speed internet here. I can't get
DSL, and I'm leary of the satellite service for internet. That leaves me
with the only cable company serving my area ... and they are the worst
company I've ever dealt with - for television or internet service (and
they want me to sign up for phone service with them!).

Why not just use the Motzarella account for your news server instead of the
one for your ISP? Or at least fix your OE profile for that news account. I
use 4 different news servers all having the same moniker.

In my experience, my ISP has been more reliable for some things than
Motzarella. When I can read the post in my ISP's newsgroup (and see
enough history to satisfy me), I get better results when I respond there.

I intended the other news groups to provide some of the history that my
ISP didn't keep.

Sometimes I forget what news group's posts I am reading ... and click
"Reply to Group" in the "wrong" news group.

It's a good question.

Until you asked it, I had just forgotten about such things. Since I had
never really intended to post using Motzarella, I never bothered to check
my profile for that newsgroup.

Now that you have reminded me to do so, I will try to re-examine my
reasons for setting that account up with a different moniker.

Thanks.
