FYI: Use task manager "control-alt-del" in XP then r click on any running

Cool!

I have a hyperthreaded Pentium 4 and I have no problems with Quicken 2006
H&B. I did have a problem with a game that required that you turn off
hyperthreading. One could use the affinity trick or there was a program that
I downloaded which toggled a setting in the exe so that it only ever uses 1
processor.

Don't see why that is required. A program should not know nor care how many
processors are running.

Your right Andrew it shouldn't know or care BUT IT DOES. It takes about 15
seconds of blinking to retrieve the split transaction data when you pause
over that split entry. Instantaneous with one processor off. Didn't have
that in earlier versions as there was no such unneeded "to me" feature.

Well it shouldn't.

Again (for those who have apparently lost the ability to read) it
doesn't happen for me. As such I would check your configuration.

Why are cigarettes sold in gas stations when you can't smoke there?
