This has driven me crazy for years! If I have several transactions on the
same date, and I want to rearrange them in an order that makes sense to me,
how can I do that? There must be some easy way of doing it. Can anybody
help?

To rearrange the order of transcations in register view, first set view to:
View - Sort by Date / order entered
Assume there were 4 transactions on 3/31/2007, originally entered in this
order:
D
C
B
A
Cut B, paste B, cut C, paste C, cut D, paste D, and you end up with:
A
B
C
D
Bob
