I'm green to online banking... dirt old to Quicken (though far from expert).
I've had one session (last month) of paying bills online and then... my
computer crashed. I've rebuilt and picked up where I left off only to find a
series of transaction that I have to match, accept, or adjust. I've waded
through all that and am now down to an out-of-balance situation equal to
$20. Since those transactions I send get cleared when they are sent back
into that "Accept Transactions etc" window (after I acept them, of course),
how can I ever reconcile against a statement? The transactions I've
electronically accepted won't show up on the Reconciliation window that I
used with my bank statements... or will it? (I'm trying to avoid getting
this file any stickier than I've made it with my bungled attempts to
"simply" life here.)
