I am trying to register Quicken 2005 and it keeps giving me errors and I
have to cancel. When I follow Quicken's instructions to bypass it I can
download my transactions fine because I upgraded from 2004 and have used
Quicken since DOS. However, each time I try to download the next day it asks
me to register again and fails.

Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this problem.

Is it possible to post your error message here? Or a
screenshot.......which is even better, although keep your privacy in
mind.

Without the context of the message its a needle in a haystack pursuit.

What version of IE are you using?
Judging from that message, it may be more of a browser error than a quicken
error.

I disabled the Quicken.com portion of "Online Update" and fixed my problem.
This worked for me because I do not use the Internet Quicken and it appears
that was what was causing the problem.

My credit cards and stock quotes are downloading fine and I have no more
interruptions asking me to register or to sign in, neither of which works
due to a blank screen.

BTW Quicken chat support and email support were ABSOLUTELY NO HELP.

The only hope we have for support is Usenet.

Thanks to all who offered advice.
