One of my accounts is all screwed up. If I delete the account and then make
a new account and download from my bank will this screw things up even
worse? I realize that I can only get this years transactions downloaded but
I am willing to settle for that to have good information.

I have to confess, I have never understood this attitude. If
every time you have a problem you are willing to delete all the
data you have, why are you even using Quicken?

Try deleting the account, then downloading, then
re-adding the account, then downloading again
to the new account.

Not sure how things are screwed up, but have you tried to 'validate'
the file?

Just in case you later wish you hadn't deleted everything, consider
renaming the screwed up file something else. That way you will still
have access to the older good parts (if any) later. You might even
figure out what caused the problem and a way to easily resolve it.

Good luck.
