I am using Quicken 2006 XG.

Is it possible to set up a scheduled transaction so that it occurs on
the fourth last business day of every month?

Same version, similar problem.
I'm paid the last day of the month unless it is a weekend. There is no
choice for last day of the month, or last business day of the month.
I guess the answer to both of our problems is - no.

I could very well be wrong, but I seriously doubt that Intuit is
going to provide the capability to do anything based on whether
it is a "business day".

Keeping track of weekends is relatively trivial; keeping track
of holidays is not.

Hi, Capt.

In Quicken 2007 Basic (I don't know about XG) there IS a choice for last day
of the month. Not for last business day.

A (less than perfect) workaround for both of you might be to schedule the
transaction for the last day of the month, but then adjust the "Remind me"
or "Automatically enter" setting each month. Or adjust the actual due date
each month. That's what I had to do for my Social Security pension for the
first couple of years, until Quicken added a way (in Q2005, as I recall) to
set it for the "Second Wednesday of each month". A small hassle, but
manageable.
