Saving Customization settings? Stubby 05-08-2006

with QB06 I do a lot of Reports>Spending>Itemized Categories and
customize the accounts involved and date range. Quicken seems to forget
those settings at the drop of a hat. Is there a way to make them stick?

Is there a quick date picker that includes a whole year, ending on
yesterday? "Last Year" gets all of 2005. "Year to date" only gets
dates in 2006.

I assume you mean Quicken 2006.

Basically no. You can tell Quicken what default date range you
want for every report, but that will not always produce
satisfactory results. And it doesn't cover accounts. The only
other alternative I know - Save your report(s) - also will not
always deliver, but it will allow you to retain the date range
and accounts you selected.

Almost. You can use "Last 12 months", but that ends today, not
yesterday.
