Ok, this is driving me sort of nuts. I had no problem with this in
2005 version.
First of all, my scheduled updates don't seem to be working. After
deleting and remaking my password vault, it now tried to run, but i
seem to always get the error symbol with the 2 arrows in the task
tray.

When i double click the arrow task, it opens quicken, and it shows the
status screen with none of the accounts updated, like it didn't
download anything.

Also, maybe related to that, when i run a one step update, it updates
everything with no problem, and when it shows the status screen
showing what accounts updates and which didn't I have selected the
"check this if you only want to show if there is an error" on the
summary screen after the one-step-update.

Problem is, quicken keeps seeing my lack of an update at quicken.com
as an error, and therefore pops the screen up anyway!! How do i tell
it to completely ignore quicken.com for updates? I don't use it, or
have it registered as an account anywhere! There are no other errors,
every other account other than quicken.com has a green dot or flag or
whatever.

Can anyone help me resolve either or both problems.?

I installed 2008 over 2005 and had it uninstall 2005. Everything
transferred with no problem, but i'm stuck with these annoyances.

jason

Do you have a password on your Quicken data?

Q2007 has an Intuit acknowledged bug which prevents scheduled
updates for a Quicken file with a password. My guess is that
the same bug persists in Q2008.

Well, yeah, of course i have a password. I assume you mean the
password when i first open Quicken?
If that's the case, you GOT to be kidding me. They've had a bug for 2
versions on something so important? Well, i'm glad i spent money
upgrading for 2005.
