Short Sale recording as Long Term

Posted by sara li on July 10, 2009, 2:18 pm Please log in for more thread options The short-sale and cover-short function in Quicken 2007 for Windows XP, isn't working. When I do a short-sale and then buy it back (using cover-short) it always records the transaction as a long term gain/loss. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks!
