I just installed the Q2008 upgrade from Q2005 Premier. Wish I could
stick with the older version. I run Q2005 on an Apple Imac G5 1.6mhz,
using Virtual PC. Here's the rub: Q2005 ran a little pokey, but it
was usable with this arrangement. The newest version, however, is
incredibly slow, it takes forever to refresh the screen and there are
other problems. I'm at a loss, I've been using Quicken since 1990. I
wonder if doubling the RAM of my Imac from 1 gig to 2 gigs will solve
the problem, or at least lessen them. Right now, it's really
unworkable. Any ideas out there?
