I don't know why the OP posted the foldershare link -
probably in response to some earlier post he lost the thread to -
but foldershare is a Microsoft product tied to their Windows Live
service.

Of course, as a Microsoft Windows MVP, you probably already
knew that and just forgot... ;-)

Hi, Leonard.

Well, even we MVPs don't know EVERYthing about Microsoft! ;^{

Thanks for telling me about FolderShare. Perhaps I should have known about
that, but the only Live product I use is Windows Live Mail. And since, as I
often say, I'm just one guy with one computer and no net but the Internet, I
don't pay a lot of attention to products that synchronize my files "so
they're the same on all your computers".

So I guess I owe "L.Blado" an apology. But I would have been less confused
if he/she had simply provided some context for the post - or even made it a
Reply to the prior thread.

As GSalisbury said, it probably belongs in the "Networked Quicken" thread.

Hell, I remembered that foldershare had been discussed here, and
I still found the post suspicious.

Not only was it not a "reply", and not only did it not have any
context; but the instructions were odd ("Do not install yet"),
and the link didn't contain Microsoft's name anywhere.
