It may be possible. At one time it was. There is a "Quicken.ini" file in
"c:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication
DataIntuitQuickenConfig". In that file, the line "autocopy=5"
controls how many automatic backups are created. In previous versions,
it was possible to set it to 0 in the file, and that would work. I
haven't tried it since about Q2004 when it did work, so I can't say for
sure if it still does work. I'd also recommend backing up the file
before editing it.
Note that the "AutoBackup=" line controls how often the program prompts
you to do a backup when exiting.
