I have used Quicken for 15 years and have upgraded often with no
problems. However, when upgrading to Premier 2006, major, unwanted
changes occured. In three of my Mutual Fund (not brokerage) accounts a
strange security appeared, SEC 1. I have no idea where it came from
nor what to do with it. Since it is in three different mutual fund
accounts, either fully or partially, I cannot change it's share price
in one without affecting the others. I cannot delete it because it is
in more than one fund. Since mutual funds (and mine for 15 years) are
gnberally listed as one security, THE FUND, where did this come from?
Better yet, what do i do with it? Unless I get some help my plan is to
hide this unwanted security, and adjust my funds holdings after the
next statement. I can do this but I am very disturbed by the fact that
Intuit will not even hear my problems without being paid. It was their
upgrade that caused the problem. Can anyone help me?
In addition, my overall worth is listed as $43 million which is absurd
from the account values as well as the truth. What has happened in the
upgrade to 2006?
