I am using Quicken 2005 which I need to continue to use to be able to
import QIF files.

Is there a way to synchronize accounts between Quicken 2005 and 1008.

What I would like to do is to use Quicken 2005 to import the QIF file
and then, after verifying and applying the transactions synchronize
the Quicken 2008 account from Quicken 2005.
