Ever since direct import from Quicken was provided, I have been importing
data from my Sked E rentals from Quicken to TTax. My Quicken05 data is
assigned the proper Sked E lines, and has classes assigned (3 properties).
In the class list, I have copies 1, 2, and 3 assigned to the 3 properties.
These have always imported into TTax on a single copy of Sked E, column A
B C. When I import into TTax06, the data is not going into the proper
columns any more. I have no entries for property 2 this year, but the
depreciation data is transferred from TTax05 so it still is carried over.
The data from property class 1 is being placed in Sked E copy 1 column B,
and the data from property 3 is being placed in Sked E copy 2 column A.
I have never had this happen before. any ideas?

What I find interesting, is I also have 2 classes related to Sked C, and
when I got to the interview for that, TTax showed the 2 classes and asked
which class I wanted imported into which Sked C. I can't find anything
like that for the Sked E.

Couple of thoughts - things to look at.

Have you examined QW's Tax Schedule Report - the fromat of this report
should verify that QW is properly handling the Sched E info.

Could try an export of this report as a txf file and then import the
txf file into TTax - see if this changes anything.

Finally, a post at Intuits TTax forum might get some input:

Very familiar with QW/TTax handling of Sched C & E data - but don't
have any of either for TY06.

I've posted also at Intuit, but generally found better results
here in the past. I will do some more data sleuthing, but the thing
that gets me is I haven't changed anything from prior years, where
it worked as expected. In the worst case I can just enter it manually
from the tax schedule report, but ISTM that something was changed
that broke the prior functionality.
