All is recovered. Son-in-law was able to extract the automatic back-up
files from the old hard drive. I loaded them on the new computer,
translated them from 99 Deluxe to 07 Deluxe and restored the data. It
took me about 90 minutes to repeat the inputs we'd made after starting
Q07 as a new installation, and we're still struggling with the way it
translated our IRA stuff.

I guess we'll get used to the "New and Improved" version of Quicken
eventually, but I think we'd like to get 99 Deluxe back again! There
are some really weird effects in Q07. I'll have to print off the user
guide, I guess. Even for an 8-year user, Q07 is definitely different.
