 How can I transfer securities from one investment account to another
without losing history? If I use "Move Shares" out of the old account
and into a new one, the cost basis in the new account (in portfolio
view) resets to the value of shares when transferred.

 If you transferred the whole account, just rename it in Quicken. That will keep
your history intact.
