I have used TurboTax for Business for several years for a partnership. I
have been a beta tester for some of those years. I have never had the kind
of problems that are present in the 2008 version. I had downloaded data
from our 2007 return which was fine. Now balance sheets were impossible to
balance. Data on a newly purchased auto transferred as the entire
depreciation expense. The almost $6000.00 depreciation expense carried from
previous years disappeared, even though the depreciation schedule shows it
all. Proper numbers did not transfer to the K-1's. I had to override many
input boxes to get balance and to transfer the proper numbers to the K-1's.
I have had fewer problems with early beta versions.
Has anyone else had these problems? Does anyone know if more patches are
coming for TT for Business 2008?
