I too had that problem last week. When I disabled my Firewall program, I
was then able to update. When I called one of my financial institutions,
they were the one who suggested I disable the Firewall program.

If you recently upgraded to one of the new Quicken releases,
that might cause your firewall to no longer allow Quicken to
access the internet. If that's the case, you can usually just
go into the firewall and tell it to allow Quicken (again) and
fix the problem.
