Laura,
I tried various date combinations. The report for year to date is the
one where I notice the strange number with no apparent underlying
transaction basis. If I keep going back year by year, I do pick up
uncategorized transactions with amounts in them, usually when I made
an adjusting entry for an error i made in the cash tracking on the
investment area. If I do all dates, I continue to pick up various
uncategorized transactions, but I don't see what they have to do with
what the year to date report is telling me. Why should that report
pick up anything uncategorized from previous years? And why should it
point to invoice related transactions where no amount is
uncategorized?
Thanks for your help. This is an odd one.
