Hi Laura,

Sorry to piggyback on your reply, but I do not have access to
the original post anymore.

Just wanted to add another suggestion: try running the Banking >
Transaction report for all accounts, all dates, category "Not
Categorized", and amount not equal zero (Advanced tab in
Customize).

Q2006 had a problem or two with a few reports; one - whose
details I have forgotten - was with certain split transactions
in Investment accounts.

Also double-check the selection of accounts (including hidden
accounts) in the Income/Expense report and the zoomed reports to
make sure the selections are the same.

No problem John. I'm am aware of your ISPs short retention period. Piggy
backing is good in these occasions.

I have a similar report saved in both of my files which is why I suggested
running it across all dates. I include Miscellaneous and Uncategorized
categories across all dates/accounts. I don't filter on non zero amounts
however as I would want to see these entries too. I purposely change any
entry in these categories to another category so that this report is empty
when I am done updating the files.
