I currently have many entries using the category of "Cable & Telephone". I'm
now trying to break these into two seperate categories.

Is there any way that I could view ONLY the transactions for the category
"Cable & Telephone", select those related only to Telephone, and change the
category on all to "Telephone" in one action?

I think you can do this with the Find and Replace feature found under
the Edit menu. Be sure and make a backup first, just in case you get
unexpected results.
