Hi all, wonder if anyone can help me update my (now unsupported by Quicken)
Q2002UK.

American Express offers statement downloads in OFX format, but when Quicken
processes the file the first thing that it does is "phone home" to verify
the Financial Institute, which comes up as a failure, hence it cannot
continue processing.

Since Intuit have abandoned the UK Quicken market, there are no updates
available, but if the last UK versions supported Amex is there anyone out
there that could send me their fidir.txt so I could see if that would make a
difference. Mine currently only has NatWest and Lloyds in it.

Incidentally, has anyone got the update files for Q2002UK? Mine is good old
rel 1, I believe the final release was 3 or 4?

Thanks.

I don't think a new "fidir.txt" will help.

Quicken can't use OFX files, only QFX files.

And, unless Intuit has decided to give UK users a special break,
even QFX files will not work in Q2002. Quicken will not download
to "sunsetted" versions (all versions older than Q2005, as of
today).

Sorry to have to disagree John, but my experience from my bank is that OFX
files are exactly what I download for Quicken to reconcile against my
account. As to no longer working, they haven't stopped yet so, SHHHH, don't
tell Intuit.
