Hi,

I am currently using Quicken 2004 Premier. Is it worth to upgrade to Quicken
2006 especially in handling investment accounts?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

At this time of the year, you might as well wait for the 2007 version. I
upgrade every 3 years. For you to make the decision, go to the Intuit site
and you can find out the various "improvements" between 2004 and 2006.

Or wait for a better price on Q06 when Q07 comes out.

If you use Turbo Tax, it *really* makes it worth it to wait until
Nov/Dec. There are usually several bundled offers of software &
hardware. Staples for the past 2-3 years has, in the first week, offered
Quicken Deluxe on sale at a price that makes it, with rebate, free. I
usually get Norton Anti Virus for free after rebates (including an
upgrade rebate), TT State, and one or more packages. Often they throw in
a shredder or other hardware.

Hank Arnold

Quicken 2006 does allow you to import QIF files into credit card and
bank accounts. So if you are currently downloading and importing QIF
files you may want to want as long a possible before upgrading or
consider switching to another financial software package.
