I just used "Corporate Acquisition" to convert V. Reit shares from
Admiral to Investors shares. I'm pretty sure I followed the
instructions from V's web site correctly, but I've ended up with
almost twice the number of shares I should have. Should I simply use
"Remove Shares" to correct the total? This is an IRA account, so cost
basis info is not crucial. Thanks.

Was it your intent to record the conversion of ALL of your Admiral-
class shares to Investors-class?

Because, if I recall correctly, Corp Acq converts one's entire holding
in the acquired equity.
