Has anybody successfully installed and used Quicken with Vista? So far, we
have found Q.2005,2006 & 2007 either will not finish installing or will not
work.

Hi, Carolyn.
> Has anybody successfully installed and used Quicken with Vista?
Of course we have! Many of us! If you are still asking that question, you
just haven't been paying attention to the messages here. As I said in my
first reply to your question, nearly 2 months ago: "I've used Q05, Q06 and
Q07 with each Vista beta build (both 32-bit and 64-bit) and with the final
Vista RTM." I did have an updating problem after installing Q07, but that
has long since been resolved and Quicken 2007 Basic is again running fine on
Vista Ultimate x64.
If you are unable to install Quicken on Vista, there must be something
"special" about your computer. Can you please tell us the make and model of
your computer (or the motherboard/CPU if you built it yourself). Also tell
us which versions of Quicken and Vista and any other details that might help
us help you. HOW are you trying to install Quicken? Please tell us, step
by step, what you are doing and what result you get. What error messages
are you seeing (verbatim, if possible)? What other symptoms do you see?
We want to help you, but we can't see your computer. All we know about it
is what you tell us. So far, that is not much at all.

I haven't tried earlier versions, but Quicken 2007 works just fine under
Vista here. No problems at all.

Intuit has said that the installation process can sometimes take
a *long* time (30 minutes to 2 hours), and that even if Windows
task manager says Quicken is not doing anything ... it is. You
should not interrupt an installation.
