At least that happened to me. I am several hours into trying to clean
it up. Since I saw what happened with the less than positive topic is
started before I don't think I will monitor this thread. Just a warning.

My process is to
1. copy the file within Q05
2. open the newly copied file
3. run validate
4. run supervalidate
5. start Q08 and convert the file

Instead of spending hours of cleaning up the newly transitioned file
(Q05=>Q08), why not to try to resolve this problem starting back with
the older Quicken (Q05) and upgrading again. This would require
uninstalling newer version of Quicken, reinstalling Quicken 2005,
recalling the backed up file set(s), maybe validating them, and going
through the Q05=>Q08 process again.
I would suspect the data file error before I'd blame Quicken - the
upgrade ran smoothly for many-many people.
