Wells Fargo Bank online question Bob Fry 05-02-2007

I've got 4 accounts (checking, savings, two Roth IRAs) with Wells
Fargo Bank. They all offer .QFX online updates, and I have login name
("Customer ID") in the accounts, and PIN in the PIN vault.
Nevertheless Q2006 Premier H&B never tries to access the WFB
accounts. It does successfully access Schwab and a credit union
account. Is there something peculiar about Wells Fargo, or do I have
something set wrong?

Thanks,
Bob Fry

No longer bank with Wells Fargo, but Express Web Connect (which uses
the Pin Valut for QFX downloads) is a subscription for the Bank. For
one of my Credit Unions, Qucken states they offer Express Web Connect,
but my Credit Union states they do no subscribe to this service and
the only way I can download is by initiate via their Website. I tend
to believe my Credit Union. I do know for a fee that Wells Fargo
offers Direct Connect.

100% wrong. Express Web Connect is free and works with any bank who
support "Web Connect". Quicken 2006+ for the pc only works with web
connect.

True ... if the Web Connect is free, which it usually is.

Not true. The financial institution must agree to support
Express Web Connect, it is not automatic just because they
already support Web Connect. I can tell you one financial
institution that supports Web Connect but not Express Web
Connect: Navy Federal Credit Union. (There are others.)
