I have quicken 2004 premier..
I have access in my current set up to ALL my records since I started
quicken.
I find that even with my new computer... someparts are very slow in
quicken...

I read and re-read about archiving...and there is something I don't get.

I would like to have access to go back from the beginning..but I really only
need to see the last 2 or 3 years...how do i do this...???? or can it be
done..

often when i click on my website link... it takes forever..don't know if
this my internet connection or quicken...

and sometimes the screen with quicken.. goes blankwhite ..... one would
think a crash..but then it comes back..like it is trying to do tooo much at
one time.

Look under File operations and use the Year End Copy feature (you don't
have to do this at year end you can use any date) to remove older
transactions (and save for later access). Just be sure to make a backup
of the current file(s) before you do this so if you goof you can go to
the back and try again.
