I've been shifting some cash into CDs
buying them thru my Schwab account.

When I download transactions,
the CD purchase comes thru with the bank name, etc.
I recently bought a 3mo + 6mo CD issued from Morgan Stanley,
and when they downloaded,
the 1st one was "new" so asked to create the "security",
then the 2nd one came thru, found the name "morgan stanley",
and used that for the security list entry.

SO - I'm wondering - just for housekeeping,
if I might change all my CD entries to use the same security name
of something like "CD" since there is no "symbol" to lookup anyway,
and then I could see all my CD entries in a single security list
vs having the issuing bank - Morgan, LaSalle, WaMu, etc...
