after using quicken for pc for years i switched to mac to quicken mac
2007. i import my register from citibank -- qfx/webconnect files.

i can't figure out why most of the check numbers are missing on many
but not all my checks. on those only WITHD (for withdraw) shows up in
the # window.

obviously this is a problem. i don't want to have to manually enter
each check number. of course citibank has no clue. and quicken forum
had no answers.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect the checks w/o numbers are those processed for immediate payment
(EFT withdrawals) by the vendors where they were presented. If this is the
case, then it is a problem with Citibank, and the information transmitted to
Quicken, and not with the Quicken software itself. Have you tried logging
directly into the Citibank website, and seeing if the check numbers appear
there?

I use Wachovia, and 'immediate payment' checks are downloaded with the
numbers - although the images are not available.
