Using Quicken 206 Deluxe, in an investment account, after downloading
transactions, I would like to know the following related questions:

1. if I delete all the downloaded transactions in an investment account
"before" accepting them, will Quicken re-download them again the next time I
update or does Quicken keep a record that they were once downloaded and not
re-download them again so that these transactions are lost unless I manually
enter them?

2. If, after downloading transactions, I update (download) a second time
before I had the time to accept some of the downloaded transactions, will
Quicken duplicate the transactions that have been downloaded the first time
but have not yet been accepted so that I end up with double transactions?

I hope I am clear.

Jeff

The latter is how Quicken *should* work.

You *should* not end up with duplicate transactions if you do
this.

I personally do not recall ever having a problem in either of
these two scenarios, but I believe some people have reported
occasionally getting the same transaction downloaded more than
once. I'm not clear whether it was a Quicken error or a
financial institution error when that happened.
