Intuit's crippling of Q2003 annoyed me enough that I wrote some csv-to-qif
converters for the downloadable transaction histories of my online brokers,
Schwab and Ameritrade. Anyone interested can download the (strictly
amateur) C source and Windows executables here:

http://chordite.com/csv2qif.htm

I've done some alpha-level testing and they seem to work OK but no promises.
For a while, anyway, I'll fix bugs and blunders and maybe even add easy
features
as they're pointed out to me.

I still need a good way to get stock quotes into Q2003 after Intuit
cripples it. Right now all I know is to just bang them in manually.

Read the part on importing CSV price history.

Thanks Mike that's just what I needed. I can download a free .csv from
my portfolio at
Smartmoney.com that includes quotes. All I need to do is delete a few
columns.

BTW, Intuit, changing what appears on a sub menu, depending on where you
invoke
the upper menu from, can't be good GUI practice.
