how to delete a file in Quicken 2004? val189 09-08-2008

I created a new file in error, then attempted to delete it. But, it's
still listed on my file list, yet it can't be opened. How do I get it
off the list of files? I have many files in Quicken and would rather
not have to remember that this particular one is 'dead'.

Thanks for any help you can offer.
