Washington Mutual was recently purchased by Chase and the accounts
transferred with the same numbers, passwords, etc. In Quicken (2007)
I had to open a new bank account and was able to download the recent
Chase data Is there anyway that I can transfer the data from WAMU
into that account so that it will all be continguous?

Well, 1 option would be:
a) BACKUP
b) delete the new Chase account
c) disable the WAMU account from online access
d) Change the name of the "Financial Institution" from WAMU to Chase
e) edit the login/password info as needed
f) reinstate online access for the account
g) download any transaction since you last posted to the old WAMU
account.

The effect of this is that you'll have ONE account with all of your
transactions. What some object to is that it removes the name of the
old bank.

You'll sorta have to decide for yourself as to what's important to
you.
