The new netbooks running XP are very tempting because of their light weight
and easy portability. However I heard that they are not really a substitute
for a real notebook especially when it comes to graphic or other heavy
work.

Has anyone here used Quicken on one of these netbooks? If so, how does it
run?

Thanks.

Jeff

Jeff:

I run H&B 2009 on an Acer Aspire One XP Pro with the 11.6" screen, 2GB mem,
250G HD (7200 rpm, not the stock 5400 rpm).

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-11-6-Inch-Sapphire-Netbook/dp/B002C60LU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1251496832&sr=1-1

VERY VERY VERY SLOW!!!!!
Almost unacceptable for any serious work.

Bob
P.S. Even Firefox is a dog on this netbook.

I have an hpMini and I've noticed that the performance depends very
much on whether it is running off the battery or is plugged in. When
plugged in it woks just great. I haven't run QB but I've run MS
Office and except for the small screen it's perfectly acceptable.
