You're not missing very much by not having Express Web Connect for WaMu.
Many EWCs, like Wells Fargo's, actually download current transactions.
WaMu's EWC only does it for closed statement periods.
IOW, when I do a One Step Update that includes WaMu, I don't download
transactions for 30 days, then all the transactions for the last month
download when the statement actually closes.

Strange coincidence. this just came in from WaMu after 5 days waiting.
"Thank you for your email.
We did update our www.wamu.com site on 10/21/07.
Due to security issues we no longer allow downloads through a third
party such as Quicken.
This security measure was implicated in efforts to limit the potential
access to your account information by unknown parties.
Downloading transactions from WaMu.com directly to the Quicken Financial
Software is an available feature.
Please log in to the site and select Your Accounts followed by the
account you would like to download.
From here select Download Transactions and the date ranges, we suggest
using a 30, 60 or 90 day date range.
Finally, select the desired software and Next.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
For further questions or concerns please reply to this email.
Sincerely,
Mikken Canham
