We recently installed windows xp from windows 98. Many of our old programs
had to be reinstalled: quicken 2001 and our check
printing program, my business designer, were reinstalled.

I am now getting the error message "invalid application has requested to
print a document - request denied" when trying to print a check from
quicken. (Qucken uses the business designer print driver to print the
checks.)

Help appreciated.

I would check to see if your printer drivers are XP compatible especially if
you upgraded to XP instead of having them to a "clean install".
