Please log in for more thread options I also purchased a MAC mainly for simplicity of use for the family. the
parnoia of virus'' seems a bit over the top to make a decision for computer
purchases.
On the Mac, I run Q2007 for Windows... In fact to me the MAC applications
seem a bit buggy (if that is a term) so I go back to the windows side of the
house.Q2007 is stable from my perspective for tracking stock trades,
finances in general and works well, with budgetting and downloads.
An observation on my own.... I am more dangerous than any virus released
todate...... Virus 2007-0 vs. me -2 as far as OS reloads. The MAC has been
in the shop 3times with various ailments (power supply needed to be
replaced, lan connection broke, hard disk problems.
If you are truly worried about a virus try getting virus potection- $69.00
max versus a new PC/MAC
