with the quicken quotes/news server not working again,
I posted a couple of msgs over on the Quicken forum
being critical of the server outage...
http://www.quickencommunity.com

It was interesting to later receive an email update
that the msgs had been deleted....

Your discussion "Quotes & News server status" has been deleted.

Text of the deleted discussion:

Using Quicken to download quotes & news headlines for all my portfolio
securities. when it is working...

monday 4/16 - received quotes, but no headlines
tuesday 4/17 - no quotes, and no headlines

and there is NEVER any kind of posted status message or response from
Quicken/Intuit to these outages... (change author )

Likely because you violated the "terms of use", which say you
can not "bomb" the forums with multiple posts of the same
message.

You're not the first to have posts deleted for that reason.

Your original complaint - with virtually the same message - is
still there.

oh well - I guess .....
three different forum areas - with different readers and probably Quicken
members.

1 - investing - quotes not working
2 - forum feedback - quotes not working, need to have a status area for server
3 - product feedback - well...

so, if they read it from the "investing" forum,
I guess that it will magically enter the brain of the feedback & product forums.

whatever...
