Have the same problem. Is there any way to get to Intuit to tell them?

Yes, the download is taking place for me either - ALL day.... Please
read my post. The 'workaround' is perfect, except if you need the
daily high, low, and volume. Also, this workaround will eliminate the
"3 year quote available" cycle. But then, you don't really know if
the quotes will download, if they are accurate, so why waste the
time....

With some research and a really super person, I've been able to
overcome this software cheese. Excuse me, I should clarify =3D Swiss
Cheese - so many holes in it...

Another even simpler way is to download a program called "Netstock"
from http://www.splitcycle.com/ . Load the symbols you want, get the
quotes anytime, do an "Update Quicken" from the File menu,
which will write the CSV file to your disk, and use File/Import
to import them to quicken.

Just be careful of Netstock's little quirk: it always dates the
Quicken prices with "today's" date ... even if that isn't the
date in the price it has.

John makes a very good point.
A work around you can use is:

Open the exported file "prices.txt" by double clicking on it. The file opens
with notepad. Now go to EDIT, Replace, then in the find field type the date
you want to change and in the replace field type the date you want to use.

For example...I got and exported the prices today, 1/19/2008. The prices
were actually for yesterday, 1/18/2008

So in the "Find What" field i typed 1/19/2008 and in the Replace With field
I typed 1/18/2008 then clicked OK and all the dates were changed to
1/18/2008.

I then opened Quicken 2008, went to Investment Center and imported the
prices.txt file and it had the correct date of 1/18/2008 for each stock.

Good Luck
