quotes - now from Quicken vs Yahoo ps56k 08-21-2008

I was reviewing my portfolio & daily quotes,
and clicked on a symbol (quote / chart)
to get a expaned quote from Yahoo.

WELL - instead of the normal Yahoo website,
it popped up with a Quicken login screen,
and then displayed a "Quicken Investing" info page...

BUMMER - I was used to seeing the Yahoo Financial page

Why don't they tell us of these changes,
ve just pulling the rug out and switching things....

it looks like their "online maint"
was to create the Investing Quicken Online server
and REMOVE the YAHOO financial partnership

Quicken Alert The Quicken.com portfolio server is complete. This new
server applies to Quicken Windows 2006, 2007 and 2008. The Quicken portfolio
export functionality will be restored on September 3rd. Web entry will no
longer be available for supported Quicken versions. We apologize for any

I had a similar problem yesterday (8/21/08), and finally gave up trying to
get quotes.
Today I notice they are restored to Yahoo which is significantly faster
response, at least today vs. yesterday where every request timed-out for me.
