Ah, yes. Right you are on that.concerning a line BETWEEN each of the two
lines of each transaction. OK - never saw THAT before.
(My original situation about not having the bold line between end of today's
date and future still does stand. That did occur!)

You may have (unintentionally) changed the
pointers in Quicken, when they did their last
update! Am running 2006 Quicken, that I upgraded
to "Premier Version. After adding their QA5
update, some features stopped working. Close
examination showed that it had defaulted back to
the Deluxe, or basic Version! After re-installing
the code to get it back to Premeir, it started
to function correctly, again! IF you did the
enhancements, it is quite possible that their last
update might be the problem. And these are
features that YOU paid for! F.W.I.W. , Jim

I guess it's not possible that during the past week, you had NO future
transactions?
At least not any that would be showing up in the register because it's too
soon for them to appear?

Found the 'problem' (In case anyone cares, but I'm posting here for
posterity and documentation purposes). The line between current date and
all future dates disappears when one sorts by CLEARED status. Since most of
my transactions were cleared to today (I write few checks and use mostly
online transactions, so it was immediately obvious) I was looking at the
register sorted by CLEAR STATUS. When I bring down the view by date
entered, the line magically reappears, even though what is shown in that
register view looks substantially the same, transaction wise.

User error.

Hey guys, I had the same issue and had to resort the register by date. Go
to view and ensure it is being sorted by date. That should get back that
thick line. I had the same issue happen when I resorted by Reconciled and
noticed the line went away. When I resorted by date it came back. Hope
this helps. I find that thick line extremely valuable too.

Regards,

Happy New Year
