For securities you no longer hold but that are appearing in Portfolio
View - check under 'Options' and verify that 'Show Closed Lots' is not
checked.

Thanks. The "Show Closed Lots" was unchecked and yet some securities
since sold still showed. I've corrected that with the info above.
However one recently purchased security stubbornly does not show.
