This group focuses on how to use Quicken. It has a vast amount of user
experience and expertise, but generally no detailed knowledge about the
inner workings of Quicken. It's OK to discuss Quicken bugs or deficiencies
here, but this is not the place to complain about them because, officially
at least, there's no one here with the power to address your complaints.

The Quicken forum is the "official" Quicken site, with whatever benefits and
drawbacks that entails. I've used it only 2 or 3 times in ten years so I
can't recommend for or against it.

I strongly prefer this group simply because it's standard newsgroup format
lets me use the standard browsing, posting, monitoring and filtering tools
of my newsreader. Otherwise I might use the Quicken forum or both.

yeah - it's easier to hang out here....
BUT - you get a wider audience with the web based forums.
For my recent rash of postings,
I've been snip'ing and posting the question on the
Quicken and TurboTax forums.
