I have just upgraded from Q2002 to Quicken XG 2007 (Canadian edition).

I can't transfer money from my chequing account to my cash account. I have
followed all the suggestions listed on the website (made sure both accounts
are in Cdn dollars, renamed both accounts, validated data, super-validated
data) to no avail. I keep getting the message "transfer cancelled". I am
at my wit's end...actually thinking of spending the $14.95 for tech support
(is that desperate or what?).

If you can help, I would appreciate it.

Have you tried creating new accounts, moving the transactions
from the old accounts to the new (using cut/paste, copy/paste,
or move - newer versions of Quicken allow you to select as many
transactions as you like to cut/copy ... in non-investment
accounts); then trying the transfer. Backup first.

I tried creating a new cash account and transfering data from chequing to
it, but still get the message. I will try creating both a new chequing
account and a new cash account and see if it will work then.
