Using Quicken 2008

When I enter a split transaction, the entry form has the layout:
Category, Memo, Exp, Amount

My question is - What is the Exp field? If I pause on that field Quicken
will insert an "E" entry. What is that? Quicken Help provides no
clarification.

I've used Quicken for a long time and never done anything with that
field. Wondering if it might be useful.

Thanks for any info.

Is that Q2008 Home & Business?

It designates the split line as being for "reimbursible expenses".
You should be seeing the same field in non-split transactions.

Yes, that's it. Thanks much for the info. I have never used that feature
but it's good to know.
