unknown field in split transaction

If I pause on that field Quicken will insert an "E" entry. What is that? Quicken Help provides no clarification. I've used Quicken for a long time and never done anything with that field. Wondering if it might be useful. Thanks for any info. Thanks much for the info. I have never used that feature but it's good to know.
